I've had quite a busy Christmas season. It started with a commission to create 20 bowls for the Berry College board of trustees Christmas presents. I also decided to have a pottery party/show at my home and set to work creating a load of pots for that as well. Keeping my etsy shop and the cobblestone shop stocked with my pots while taking on the other two projects has been quite a task! Not to mention I have a job to go to everyday!

As a reward for my labors, I purchased a pottery wheel of my very own. I bought a Pacifica GT800, brand new! I had it shipped to my parents house since thats where I am spending my holiday and have been throwing pots whenever my heart desires. It works just as I hoped it would and I am so excited to start a new year one step closer to my goal of becoming a full time potter.

Congrats! I have a Pacifica, but I have the other model. It's great, though!
ReplyDeleteYour pottery is beautiful. You're very talented.
Merry Christmas, Lisa! Looks like you are putting that Pacifica to good use! I love mine too!
ReplyDeleteAwesome. Full time potting is possible. Come visit Tire City in Augusta sometime.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to post comments with my blogger account. Grr.
Congratulations! Good luck with transition to full time potter - I think it is possible.
ReplyDeleteLove the gorgeous handles on those forms!
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying your new wheel!
